Right, i've recently been playing the new Medal of Honor Beta. Even though it's in the Beta stages, i have to say the whole online experience has been taken from Bad Company 2 and had bits taken out. For example, no ranking system, no great weapon upgrades, no vehicles. It is easier to kill however, which makes it in my opinion less challenging. The main menu is set out and now looks like the old style battlefield game menus. You can earn medals and ribbons by doing particular things; bring back memories of Battlefield 2 anyone?

Overall, my multiplayer experience has been rubbish on the new MoH. I really do hope that the campaign mode will be a lot better as all MoH games have never ever been a let down.

If any of you get the chance to play the MoH Beta, you will notice straight away a great similarity with Bad Company 2. It's starting to show how lazy EA actually are. However, this is only because MoH is running on Bad Company 2's game engine, which is absolutely rubbish! If you're going to bring out a total new game updated from it's previous version after years, you have to create a new engine for it! Not going by the same one of a different popular game. By EA using Bad Company 2's game engine on MoH, it is basically a modification to Bad Company 2, with parts taken away.

Let down.

Damn straight. I just noticed DICE (Creators of the Battlefield franchise) have taken over the Medal of Honor franchise. Kind of explains why MoH should really be a BC2 Expansion pack.

For stated information, previous MoH's were created by 2015, DreamWorks Interactive and TKO Software. All 3 created outstanding first-person shooters of their time. Making the MoH franchise incredibly popular and now it seems DICE have taken it, picked at it, bit at it, blew it up, dunked it in nuclear waste, bit at it again, shot at it, smashed a case of Bad Company 2 on it for hours, and came up with the rubbish they have.

Like i said earlier, if DICE have any brains, they won't have ruined the campaigns. For all of you veteran MoH fans that have played and loved the MoH games that have been released many years ago, you'll know why i'm ranting about this.

To be fair, the PS3 version comes with a HD updated MoH: Frontline which was incredible. So I might just get it for that.

i dont think Dice are to be blamed for it feeling like Battlefield because that is their style of game thats wat has made them famous, trying to live up to the old MoH games when your style is different has to be very hard.

ok so the game is poo but thats because we are old MoH fans and we are compairing it to them i think for the people who where unlucky enough to never play MoHAA etc and are MW2 fans the game could be fun.

i dont think dice should have taken on MoH, i think Ubisoft Montreal (Rainbow6 Vegas 2) could have done a much better job at it but thats just me

to be honest its better than MoH: Airborne... SP & MP where utter poo!

played this on the 360, i have to say its more fun on the 360 than it is on the pc... games just like BC2 but with the health of cod4 on HC... still not sure about this game fully, ight just wait on cod 7 tbh...
