Post Rebuild...YAY!
Alright, i've finally decided to splash out on building a new PC. Preferably for gaming as my laptops are used for work. My price limit is £500 and below are links to what i have decided to get thus far:

Mobo bundle - Processor + RAM
Graphics Card
Case
PSU

Im thinking of going for a new case too as my one at the moment is pretty shabby and tatty.

Let me know what you guys think, or give me any improvements. The current total of the stuff i've chosen so far is at £324.21

Also, if anyone wants a 250GB PS3 with all the latest games, lemme know? :P

Daz posted this GPU somewhere else. I'd recommend pushing the extra cash out for this gfx as it's gna last a lot longer than that one.

Nice, good to hear buddy.

Defo go for a decent GPU so it will last you longer, ATI 5000 series are dead cheap now so I would not go any less.

Depending on the GPU you do go for you might need to get a slightly better PSU also.

On the whole not bad for the price but would most definitely look at a different GPU ;)

Will have a look for you buddy when I get a min.

i don't know about your finances and how much you can put out. But i will tell you from experience its best to go 200% and not slack off on a new build.

keeping in mind that with todays technology new processors come out every month.

If i were you ( and you have the money ) i would look in the new Six core mobo.

The neat thing about those is that you can put a quad core CPU in it untill you feel like updating or if you want go ahead and put a six core in.

i do realize it is pricey and you may not be able to afford it but... if you have a friend in the USA pay them to buy the item and ship them to you.

Reason i say this is because i have build six core 3 way sli and sound blaster fidelity series computer for under $1000, the video cards were only Nvidia Geforce 9800 but when you have 3 of them who cares?. if you compare this price to the Euro it would be 750-800.

if you would like me to post some deals for the USA just let me know... if all comes to worst you can have them shipped to my address and ill forward them to you. ( last pc build was less than $100 for shipping to kifisia Greece. )

just a thought, ill check back and offer my help if you need it :)

Thanks guys. I have the money for whatever PC i want. But i don't want anything too extreme. I just want something that will get the job done. I'm not going to be no extreme gamer like i used too. My budget is £500 and that's what it's sticking at. Im thinking about a better GPU, but same again, nothing too extreme. :P

I always buy my computer stuff off Ebuyer by the way. So if you look for something for me, then look on Ebuyer please :P

I've just looked at a GPU that is the same as/equivalent to the one you listed, Distortion.

Opinions? If i do get that, then i definitely do think a better PSU is in order

Looks neat buddy, I to shop @ Ebuyer but you may want to check out Scan.co.uk which I use a fair bit too.

Each day they have "Today Only" prices and on Fridays they run till Monday, so decide on the stuff you want then check there as it may save you a few extra pennies ;)
